PhD inquiries
In The Netherlands, most PhD positions are paid research positions rather than studentships. This means that there generally must be a vacancy in order to apply for a PhD position. You can find an overview of current vacancies at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (including those at the Environmental Humanities Center Amsterdam) at workingat.vu.nl/vacancies.
